No one expects to launch a new business during a global pandemic, let alone a music venue.

But that's what's happened with Rabbit Rabbit, the new concept from partners Orange Peel Events and Asheville Brewing Co., open at 3 p.m. Aug. 27.

WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT is deliciously outrageous fun the whole family will enjoy. Additional Features. The handsome Vista Series double disc is set up exactly the way it should be. Disc 1, labeled 'Family Friendly,' contains a full screen version of the film, an enjoyable game, and a dandy 10-minute, over-easy look at the making of the film. The Night of the Rabbit. I can get back to the settings screen but the resolution of my game is huge and the full screen/windowed option is off to the side of my. I tried out screen share with discord and I can get it going and it's not a hassle really, just, the one thing I can't figure out is how I can show a movie in full screen like you could in rabbit. I do not mean 'how can I make my discord stream full screen?'

The open-air venue covers a lot of ground — more than an acre — in downtown Asheville. And it should scratch an itch for entertainment in a time when indoor music clubs are mandated closed by the state.

Here, you'll be able to enjoy ticketed outdoor movie nights and trivia at picnic tables that must be reserved in advance, and even check out some small evening concerts in the near future.

That's according to co-owner Mike Rangel, the founder of Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company who joined forces with Liz Whalen Tallent to form 75 Coxe Properties LLC, which purchased the former Wells Fargo bank property in 2019, reserving the space for locals, by locals.

'The plan is to definitely to do some hyper-local live music to support artists with ticket sale proceeds,' Rangel said.

They're the artists hurting the most right now, he added, not big-name acts.

'Silent' late-night events

Rabbit Rabbit will host both family friendly and adult-centric late-night events.

Out of respect for its South Slope neighbors, the team behind Rabbit Rabbit has secured 500 wireless headphones and 500 RF modulators for 'silent' events after 10 p.m.

There will be no charge to reserve a socially distanced picnic table unless the event you're attending is ticketed. In that case, you'll pay a flat rate for your 'pod.' Fifa 14 latest squad update 2019 download.

Your section will be demarcated with brightly colored paint. Masks are optional in your space, but they must be worn once you leave your pod's perimeter to order beer, cocktails or food from the house AVL Taco truck.

There's a projection screen that measures 20 feet from corner to corner, which will show movies, televised concerts, sports and other events. Casino games to play.

The maximum capacity of the venue is 2,500, but that's been whittled down to 350, greatly exceeding COVID mandates with an eye toward not only safety, but also guest comfort.

Even when the pandemic first began to dawn on U.S. soil, Rangel said he figured he'd be booking big shows by this time of year. Jason Isbell was one artist slated to appear.

But music will come again. For now, it will stay local.

'We don't want to commit to a heavy lineup yet,' Rangel said. 'Our focus is to keep everyone safe, schedule 2-3 shows, and see how it goes — you can predict everything except human behavior.'

Eye toward safety

Rangel said many, himself included, are still reticent about the idea of being in big crowds.

'So we're going to make sure that we take every possible step to make sure this place is safe,' he said. 'Even if that means we have to be pretty tough, because that's what you have to do these days.'

To that end, the brightly colored space will also be filled with signage so employees who are tasked with enforcing COVID precautions simply have to point.

'There's a picture of someone with a mask on, and that needs to be you,' Rangel explained.

It will likely be an extra challenge to keep crowds apart when the music is flowing said Rangel, who knows well the euphoric feeling of live shows.

'There's a pheromone that's released when crowd starts hearing music,' he said. 'You can lose yourself to the mass think. While this won't be as fun as being able to get up in the front row at the Orange Peel, for now take we'll take what we can get.'

Several brief, off-color jokes are allegedly hidden within the film, detectable only by viewing the film frame-by-frame on a high-quality VCR or laserdisc player. Some of these gags — if they ever indeed existed — were removed before the movie was released to the home video market. The scenes most often mentioned include the following:

  • An incident that occurs during the scene in which Jessica Rabbit is riding through Toon Town with Bob Hoskins in an animated cab. As the taxi runs into a lamp post, Jessica and Hoskins are both thrown from the car; Jessica lands spinning, which causes her red dress to start hiking up her body. For a few frames of Jessica's second spin her underwear supposedly disappears, revealing Jessica's unclothed nether regions. The frames in question are frames 2170-2172 on side 4 of the laserdisc version; in these frames Jessica's pubic region is colored darker than the surrounding flesh-colored areas. Whether this coloration was intended to suggest nudity or was the result of a paint error is unknown. The intention might have been to paint the darker regions a color representative of underwear, but an error in the color markup chart produced some ambiguous images instead:
  • A scene at the beginning of the film depicts a diaper-clad Baby Herman stomping off the set and underneath the dress of a woman. Watched frame-by-frame, the scene reveals Baby Herman extending his middle finger just before jumping underneath the skirt and re-emerging with a spot of drool on his upper lip. This scene can indeed be seen on the home video release and was clearly intentional.
  • In another scene, Bob Hoskins steps into a Toon Town men's room. Graffiti on the wall reads 'For a good time, call Allyson Wonderland', with the phrase 'The Best Is Yet to Be' appearing underneath it. Allegedly, Disney chairman Michael Eisner's phone number replaces the latter phrase for one frame. Although the 'Allyson Wonderland' graffiti is clearly visible on laserdisc, Eisner's phone number is not. If the phone number was in the film originally (as rumor has it was), it was removed before the home versions of the movie were made available.

Animators have traditionally amused themselves by slipping occasional racy frames or other gags into their work, frames which flash on the screen far too briefly to be detected by theater audiences. With the advent of home video and laserdisc players which allow viewers to examine scenes frame-by-frame, these gags can be spotted by sharp-eyed film watchers. Many of these fleeting images are more the product of the power of suggestion than animators' intentions, however.
